Not at all. The curtain comes with hooks, adhesive clips and a mounting kit — no drilling, no tools, no electrician. Hang it on a wall, a window, a balcony rail or behind your bed, plug it in, and you're running your first animation in under 5 minutes. It's lightweight and flexible, so you can move it whenever you want.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to use it?
No. Open the free app, connect in one tap, and pick from hundreds of ready-made effects. If you want to get creative, DIY mode lets you draw your own animations, text and pixel art on a simple grid — it's more like doodling than programming. The included remote covers the basics if you don't want to grab your phone at all.
How much power does it use and can I leave it on?
How much power does it use and can I leave it on?
Very little. The 400 LEDs run on low-voltage DC and draw about as much as a couple of household bulbs, even at full brightness. It stays cool to the touch, so it's safe to leave running during a party or overnight. Use the built-in scheduler to have it turn on at sunset and off at bedtime automatically.

How long will it last?
The LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours — that's over 10 years of running 3 hours a night. Each pixel is individually addressable, so if one ever fails the rest keep working normally. The curtain is reinforced at every connection point to survive being rolled up, moved and re-hung.
